About Yeluri Sambasiva Rao
Yeluri Sambasiva Rao,MLA, From the Parchur Assembly Consistuency of Prakasam dist, in Andhra Pradesh is a young and dynamic leader in this new generation. He was born at konanki Village in Martur Mandal (Prakasam Dist.). He completed his primary education at his native place and upper primary education at Govt residential school of Chilakaluripet, Guntur dist.
Initially his ambition was to become a doctor but due to his affection and interest in the farming community, he opted to study horticulture and completed his post-graduation from the prestigious Acharya NG Ranga Agricultural University at Hyderabad.
Since his childhood he was a diehard fan of late Dr. Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao, also known as the great legend of the Telugu speaking community and the founder of the TELUGU DESAM PARTY.
One of his slogan “SAMAJAME DEVALAYAM – PRAJALE DEVULU” attracted Sambasiva Rao the most. NTR’s image and his personality drew the attention of crores of Telugu youth to work for Telugu Desam party, and Mr. Sambasiva Rao was one of them
Mr. Samba Siva Rao lead his university mates to work on the principles of TDP & worked for social reforms, women empowerment & to address the downtrodden problems even during his days of education.
Post Graduation
After his post-graduation, he started working as a horticulture officer in Kothagudem, Andhra Pradesh government service. There he proved his mettle and commitment towards farmers and worked sincerely to address the problems of not only crops but also the fundamentals of crisis related to agriculture
In the process of service to the farmers he found that this input was not enough to address the enormous problems of farming community and started his own venture by the name of NOVA AGRITECH PVT LTD Company.
During that time, he was associated with TDP at ground level cadre. He established a huge NTR statue at a main junction in Kothagudem and done many social activities for the upliftment of downtrodden and farmers. As a chairman and director of the Nova Agritech Pvt ltd., he took up many innovative steps to for the betterment of farming community.
He established a trust in the name of his late father, Yeluri Nageswar rao. He also worked on other issues like blindness. He has contributed towards emancipate the people of Prakasham dist, from blindness as well. In particularly his concern was for the farmers and the people working on the agricultural farms. He organized innumerous of free campaigns to identify people with eye problems in both Guntur and Prakasam dist. specifically from Parchuru constituency of Prakasam dist.
Currently he is pursuing on one of his goals in life which is to help and aid one Lakh people with getting cataract operations done.
As a farmer’s son
As a farmer’s son he is always inclined towards farming community and has been working for the welfare of farming community. He established research farms in various regions in Andhra & Telangana states supporting innovations and skill development among farmers.
He is the first person from Telugu states who introduced innovative ways in using plastic mulch on RED PEPPER, COTTON, MAIZE and in Vegetables farming. The company’s agriculture farm at Huggelli near Zahirabad has a world class reputation in cultivating red pepper, cotton and Maize.
The entire Tulugu media and up country media visited these farms and endorsed the innovation. The research centers are based at Kamareddy in Nizamabad dist., Kattangoor in Nalgonda dist., Isukadarsi in prakasham dist., Makkapeta in Krishna dist.
With the capabilities and leadership qualities of Sambasiva as the CMD, The Nova Agritech Company gradually expanded to all India level in agri inputs marketing as well as in a good farming experience.
This is the only company which has taken the responsibility for producing agricultural products, with high investment and risk cultivating cotton red chilli & Maize on mulch sheet.
In his political life, Mr. Sambasiva Rao, who is a qualified as an agriculturalist, is proving his abilities to raise the problems of farmers in assembly and as well as outside the house.
As a MLA
He addressed the problems of his constituency with a commitment to uplift the conditions of farmer’s as well as the common person.
Unlike the preceding MLA'S he is in regular touch with his people and has visited the whole constituency more than dozen times in just 2 years.
In 2014 elections the president of TDP invited him to contest from Parchuru, which is the prestigious constituency, predominantly rural and agricultural community as voters. He took the challenge and used his immense skill by addressing the people using information technology and by himself as well.
He is the first MLA in parchuru who won with a majority of more than 10,000 votes over his opponents. During his paada yatra, campaign in elections he drew the attention of the people as new generation and people recognized him as an innovative and visionary leader like his party president.
All sections of the society welcomed his positive attitude and commitment towards only development not about controversies as present-day politicians.
Mr. Sambasiva rao is not just a politician, an agriculturist, a social worker but also a brilliant journalist. He brought the prestigious agriclinic monthly telugu coloured magazine for empowerment of farmers with new practices, profitable farming. This magazine is a sensation in the field of agricultural extensions in Tulugu media not only a print media but also converted it as a social media forum.
His organization, The kisan media innovations has a huge reputation in the agriculture community. He also instituted an organization named Nova Rythu seva Kendram which offers service to the farmers in all over India is having a data of lakhs farmers profiles and crop research.
